LiveCalâ„¢

This series has the features of the Calmount® but with a factory-installed contactor.  Keeping the contactor open during the acceleration phase of a soft start isolates the capacitor from the harmonics generated during this time.  The capacitor is energized by closing the contactor when the motor is at speed.  This prevents premature failure by protecting the capacitor from the harmful effects of harmonics.

LiveCal™ units are also recommended for use with reversing motors, frequently jogged motors, and multi-speed motors.
