The company was founded in 1954 by Myron Zucker, an electrical engineer whose innovative ideas paved the way for new concepts in power quality and energy savings. From the introduction of his Calmount ^® brand of power factor correction capacitors to the broad range of harmonic filtration products, Myron Zucker was recognized as the leading specialist in low-voltage power quality equipment.

For over 40 years, Myron Zucker's associate, William (Bill) Zobel, provided the manufacturing facility, personnel, and design support for Myron Zucker. When Mr. Zucker retired in 1987, he sold the company to Mr. Zobel, confident that his product line would still be highly regarded and valued by his customers.

After the death of her father in 2003, Donna Zobel, succeeded as President and CEO of Myron Zucker, Inc. Ms. Zobel has since expanded the client base to include ski resorts, lumber mills, fishing vessels and many other markets. Her mission is for Myron Zucker, Inc. to maintain its reputation as the center of excellence for low-voltage power quality solutions.
